Virtual Classroom Soft Skills Training

Many clients tell us that they are now working remotely. Virtual Classroom is the perfect solution.

They describe working from home as ‘getting used to a new way of life-working’. As a result, they are more productive, however, miss being with people. Thus, virtual classroom training comes in.

In most cases, directors are reluctant to put learning and development on hold until people are ‘back in the office’, and want to use the time at home well. In short, virtual classroom training helps in this respect.

Virtual classroom

In a Nutshell

As a result of using our face-to-face virtual classroom, Learners can attend training. In this case, our trainer stands in front of a whiteboard and trains. In this case, classrooms will include, from 3 Learners to 8 Learners, who will all learn soft skills for 1.5 hours, over 7 sessions; foundation, intermediate, and advanced. Altogether, a total of 10.5 hours (1.5 days). Each virtual classroom will be held every week and will be exclusive to your business. In addition, the Learner completes exercises (Sticky Pieces ®) in between classrooms to make the learning stick.

Skills that can be Learnt Virtually

On the whole, we train 21 soft skills. Examples range from presentation to leadership, to time management. In addition to this, we have added 5 more skills to cope with the challenge of working remotely. They are:

  • How to Give an Effective Online Presentation.
  • How to Lead in Uncertain Times.
  • How to Manage Remote Meetings.
  • How to Manage Remote Teams.
  • How to Work from Home.

It should be noted that Learners can simply login to our virtual classroom, as they would a Skype/Zoom/Teams/Hangout call.

Measuring Capability Improvement

Our competency framework can help each Learner to measure their improvement in the chosen skill. Each of our soft skills has a competency framework that is based on 7 essential qualities for that soft skill. In short, the Learner can self assess where they are now on a particular soft skill and then again post the virtual classrooms.

Included in the Cost

Each Learner will receive 10.5 hours of virtual training, similar to a classroom- as well as, access to our knowledge vault. In addition to this, Sticky Pieces will be included to complete between training sessions. These are 20-minute exercises complete by the Learner ‘at their desk’ to embed the learning. In essence, to make it stick.

Virtual Classroom Cost

In this case, 7 x 1.5 hours of virtual classroom training (for each Learner) costs £525+vat.  Additionally, you will need a minimum of 3 Learners.

We are proud to have over 50 written testimonials and a similar amount of video testimonials. In addition to this, we have included the person’s name. To clarify, there are no hidden testimonials with titles like ‘Sales Director of a Top 20 brand’, for instance.

Achieving Real Behavioural Change with ‘Sticky Learning ®’

Sticky Learning ® is our own unique learning method. Developed over the last 18 years. Most Learners attend 1-day training courses and do nothing afterwards. HR Managers & L&D Managers told us that this was unacceptable.

Sticky Learning ® helps Learners to Realise more of what they have learnt. To help them to Recall more of what they have learnt. Plus, Retain more of what they have learnt. The 3 R’s.

Sticky Learning ® enables us to proudly guarantee that if a Learner is not still using their new skill 5 months later, we will give you your money back. This is our money-back guarantee.

Measuring Your ROI

We evaluate your training on 5 levels, see below, and summarise these into a pack called the ‘Chain of Evidence’.

  • Level 1: Reaction (Feel) – What were the learners’ first impressions of the learning?
  • Level 2: Learning (Know) – How much did the learners learn?
  • Level 3: Behaviour (Do) – To what extent has the learning been used?
  • Level 4: Results (Numbers) –  How did the behaviour affect the results?
  • Level 5: Sponsor (Align) – What ‘observable change in performance’ has been achieved?

You can find out more about measuring your ROI in ‘About Us’.
