GSCOP Masterclass
This 2 hour GSCOP Masterclass is for Sales & Marketing teams working for Suppliers to the major UK Supermarkets, who have heard of GSCOP and want to know more. This Masterclass is an introduction to and a Q&A discussion on GSCOP also using our book ‘A Complete Understanding of the Groceries Supply Code of Practice’ – by Darren A. Smith.
This is not training because GSCOP is a little like reading the dictionary, you can’t learn it, but be aware of what it contains and use it as you need to. To ‘use’ GSCOP you need to use your negotiation skills and influencing skills, which can be learnt on our training courses.

Darren was recommended to me by a former colleague who had used Making Business Matter specifically to delivery GSCOP training and I wasn’t disappointed. From the moment that we engaged I was filled with the confidence that Darren would deliver, and deliver well as he certainly knows his chosen subject matter. Combined with a credible and proven retail background Darren was both personable and experienced and delivered eloquently, informatively and in a friendly style that worked well with my team particularly as our session included colleague’s from both commercial and cross functional disciplines. GSCOP is such an important subject and we clearly had knowledge gaps prior to our training session but I can comfortably say that now the whole team are more informed, more aware and have a much clearer understanding of the code. Thank you”.

“…Following a recommendation from another group company, we brought Darren in to give a GSCOP masterclass. I have previously experienced GSCOP training with Lawyers and thankfully Darren’s approach was much lighter and more engaging. The Team’s feedback was very positive and they are all looking at this important area from a different perspective. Thank-you…”
