By not having tools, tips, or ways to engage your audience you will present how you have seen others present. This might limit your ability as an engaging presenter.
#5 Do you know how to achieve your presentation objectives? For example, which formats to select, how to manage your time, etc.
Knowing how to achieve your presentation objectives means that you A. Need to have written your presentation objectives, and B. Have different tools to select to meet those objectives.
#6 Do you know how to positive influence the audience to achieve what you want?
By not knowing what you can do to positively influence the audience you are unlikely to be doing it. For example, using the influencing push/pull model to help you.
#7 Do you know how to prepare to answer audience questions, and tools to select to response effectively?
By not preparing or knowing how to reply well to audience questions, you will struggle to ‘put your best foot forward’ when they ask you.
#8 Do you positively influence a large network of people?
By not influencing a lot of people you will not gain support for when you do need to influence individuals, because your reputation will have a limited reach.
