#2 Do you have a project list and do you review it frequently?

By not having a project list you will remain doing the small stuff and not making the bigger differences that you can.

#3 Do you write a to do list each day? Not an on-going list. A separate list for that day of things to get done that day.

By not having a to-do list every day you will work from an on-going list of tasks that will be overwhelming, endless, and without priority.

#4 Do you start one task and complete it before starting another task? E.g. not being distracted by emails popping-up.

By not completing each task before moving onto the next you will be ‘task switching’ which is not productive.

#5 Do you get on with the big & ‘horrible’ tasks and not procrastinate by doing the small stuff first?

By procrastinating on the big tasks you will find yourself lost in the tasks that only make a small difference to your performance.

#6 Do you manage emails effectively by using a tool to assess them and not being stuck in your inbox?

By not managing your emails effectively you will be stuck in your inbox, touching emails, 2, 3, or 4 times, without making the progress that you could.

#7 Do you have an effective time management system and one that is continually improving?

By not having an effective time management system or continually improving you will limit your performance to the maximum productivity that was set by the time management system you developer x years ago.

#8 Do you positively influence a large network of people?

By not influencing a lot of people you will not gain support for when you do need to influence individuals, because your reputation will have a limited reach.
