They support good relationships between employers and employees, which underpin business success, and also provide conciliation to resolve workplace problems together with training.

“Simpler, Clearer, Faster” it is the best place to find government services and information in the UK.
HR.com
HR<dot>com is one of the largest online spaces for human resources with a social network gaining hundreds of new members a day. There are articles, news, webcasts, events, white papers, templates, forms, and examples of best practice. This is an interactive platform, you can create your own HR blog and share your advice, thoughts, and experiences in the HR world. Entrepreneur’s Human Resources is a web-based HR guide for business owners on how to train, manage, and recruit. It includes information on compensation & benefits, employment law, and much more.
AHRI
The Australian HR Institute (AHRI) has around 20,000 members from Australia and across the globe. AHRI helps HR professionals to develop their career and achieve professional standards through HR certification. It also provides formal education and training services in HR, management and business skills. The association sets standards for accreditation of HR qualifications at universities. AHRI conducts research into management practices whilst also assisting governments in the development of policy & legislation that affects at work. AHRI is a member of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management and the World Federation of Management Associations. It belongs to a global network of HR associations that enables the open sharing of research and issues affecting the business of human resources worldwide.
CIPD
The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) has been the professional body for experts in at work for more than 100 years. Championing better work and working lives, the CIPD sets professional standards for HR and development whilst equally driving positive change in the world of work. The CIPD has hubs in the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Asia. It has more than 145,000 members around the world. It is the only body in the world that can award Chartered status to individual HR and L&D professionals. CIPD also has a very useful Human Resources blog.
SHRM
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the largest association devoted to human resource management. SHRM has more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries; half of its members work in companies with 500 employees+. The SHRM’s website offers templates, tools and publications. It also offers access to conferences and education. There are useful resources to develop your, managerial, public speaking, and decision-making skills. (Click here for the SHRM blog).
HR Magazine
The SHRM monthly HR publication is very useful, even if you don’t plan to be their member. Same can be said for Management Magazine (both online and print versions are available) and HRM Magazine (from AHRI).

Making Business Matter (MBM)
MBM provides a number of useful online resources for HR managers. You can find authoritative posts and HR Management Tips on the award-winning blog. Furthermore, there is an excellent free downloadable management tool: ‘The Ultimate HR Scorecard for Measuring Training, Mentoring and Recruitment’. to help HR Managers understand how their area is performing, and guide future HR strategy planning. HR Transformation Network
HR Transformation Network is a members only group (15,000 plus) for HR. It shares and disseminates ideas and contacts within HR transformation, restructuring, and change.
LinkedIn has hundreds of general HR and specialist groups. You can find change and transformation, recruitment and more.
HR Job Boards
HR Job boards are a useful tool that provides a platform to test the market, salary bands and HR trends. They also provide white papers and interviews, for example, Changeboard, and Simply HR Jobs.
